The town’s lord has died with no heir, and thus we find the Sheriff has been taking the money of the villagers. The story takes place in the village of Nottingham during the 1170s. This genre of interactive theater originated in the UK and can include songs, gags, slapstick comedy, and dancing. Every year during Christmas, the Laguna Playhouse collaborates with Bonnie Lythgoe Productions to produce an original holiday “panto” or pantomime.
